Coventry Citizens Advice Bureau wishes to point out that in no way are any of the providers listed below connected to or endorsed by Citizens Advice, however each provider has been thoroughly researched and assessed for security and confidentiality reasons.



Housing Advice

 

 

Coventry Law Centre is a charity employing solicitors who provide free legal advice on a range of issues from Immigration, Employment, Housing, Discrimination, Community Care and Welfare Benefits. They can be contacted on 024 76223053 or go to their website at www.covlaw.org.uk.

 

 

Shelter believes everybody should have a home. They help people find and keep a home and they campaign for decent housing for all. Contact them on 0808 800 4444 or go to their website at www.shelter.org.uk.

 

Coventry City Council Housing Policy and Services is responsible for the work the Council does in enforcing housing legislation, administering housing grants, home energy efficiency, homelessness, nominations and advice, supporting people, asylum and refugee work and housing strategy. Holbrooks Community Care Association is a registered charity operating as a voluntary organisation. They are a community based resource and information centre offering services for people living in Holbrooks and its neighbourhood wards. Willenhall Advice Centre offers free independent and confidential advice, information and representation to people living in South-East Coventry. Wood End Advice and Information Centre provides free, confidential, impartial advice to people living in the North-East of Coventry. They support a wide range of advice and advocacy from their small but highly experienced advisers. Home visits can be arranged for people who are housebound or bereaved.  Coventry Cyrenians

Coventry Cyrenians provides accommodation for single homeless people. They have an advice centre and a womens advice service which can help people in need of emergency accommodation and also those with enquiries about benefits and more complicated housing issues.
